Assignment 1.1

Hi Guys! This is Class Exercise 2, where we are supposed to start by brainstorming ideas or anything that is related to ourselves. As for me, the first few things that I can relate to myself are how I am addressed by my relatives and friends, followed by things I can do and I cannot do, and finally about things that will first appear on their mind when they are asked about me.

-wei(what my family always call me)

-WEi(How I like to write my name)

-weiliang(my name... =.=)

-rule bender(likes to find flaws in rules and take advantage of them =D)

-merlion(vomits after playing FPS games, for mild cases I'll just see stars...)

-gamer(too engrossed in the world of MMORPG, have been playing since Sec 2)

-head hunter(the percentage of goals I scored using my head is higher than using my feet)

-big eater(because I can eat a lot... and gets hungry too fast)

-plate cleaner(because my friends cannot eat much... so I happen to help them eat... =.=)

-饭桶(because I eat alot of rice)

-likes nature (i.e. plants etc)

Description of thumbnails(Starts from top left, moving top to bottom of a column, then to another column)

TN1: A person shooting a rifle, vomiting and seeing stars...

TN2: A mountain of fried rice with the word "WEi" on it...

TN3: 2 trees with branches forming "W" and "i" and a monkey hanging in the centre to form "E"...

TN4: A giant plate with 2 forks positioned to form "W" and "E" and a dessert spoon acting as "i"...

TN5: An opened bag with items in it forming "WEi"(An uncomplete idea as I have no idea what can be used to stand in for the alphabets)

TN6: A single tree with branches forming "WEI"...

TN7: Cutlery on a serviettes with part of a plate shown. The cutlery form the "WEi"...

TN8: An extension of TN7 where more of the plate is shown. The cutlery shows "WEi" while the plate now shows food lining up to form "LiAng"...

TN9: Inspired by a picture of trees found online, gaps from trees and their leaves from "WEi"...

TN10: A MacDonald plastic bag with 2 fries container forming "W" and "E" and 2 cans of soft drinks forming "i".

Formulating these ideas too up quite a lot of time. Inspirations appeared when I was eating with my friends during weekends. Personally I think that a mix of the 2 methods of brainstorming for ideas mention in lecture suits me better. Most of the ideas are firstly based on things that I see and then evolved to the secondary idea, that is why some of the thumbnails are uncannily similar.
